There is a huge food waste problem in the US as an extortionate amount of food gets locked in landfills everyday. Seconds is on a mission to change the way you eat by finding new ways to keep food out of landfills. Seconds creates new, nutritious snacks made from upcycled foods.
The Seconds team came to us looking for a brand identity, packaging design and a simple website to launch their first product – carrot crackers. Leaning into the dual meaning of “crunchy”, we created an identity system that pays homage to the hippie movement, but through a contemporary lens.
